“I have always loved squash. It is great exercise, and my inspirational wife was very keen on my playing for health reasons. And you mustn’t forget the cold beer afterwards and the enormous camaraderie therefrom!” says Peter.

The greatest challenge he has faced was the loss of his wife to cancer – “My goddess that I loved so totally and unconditionally. Thankfully I have our two daughters whom I am crazy about as her lasting legacy. Generally speaking my spirit guides have been kind. A big challenge was when last year I developed a heart condition which massively restricted my activity. Thankfully my cardiac surgeon has fixed things up as it were, but it meant starting over on the squash court. It has been a tough haul but I am happily making gradual progress.”
